Open-access articles in GSP journals are published under the umbrella of a Creative Commons license, which provides an industry-standard framework to support the unfettered reutilization of open-access resources. Our preferred license is the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0). Under this license, authors are not allowed to publish articles (in whole or in part) that have been published in our journals elsewhere. However, once proper citation is given, the original materials are made accessible for reading, downloading, and utilization. Open-access publication is supported by the authors’ institutes or research funding agencies by the payment of a comparatively low Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted articles.
